What IS it?

“Blue Devils for Christ” are a group comprised of Christian youth athletes and their families, and friends. The mission of “Blue Devils for Christ” is to present all players, cheerleaders, coaches, and everyone they encounter, the challenge and rewards of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Our actions will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through sportsmanship, integrity, teamwork and excellence.

What can YOU do?

The goal this first season is awareness. We will be having pre-game prayers, a prayer at pep rally, and are asking coaches and sponsors to participate with their teams in an “invitational” prayer after games. All you have to do to participate, is during the after game handshake, invite the opposing teams head coach to join his team with ours in prayer at midfield. Cheerleaders should also invite the opposing cheer squad during the post game handshake.

What else?

Look for t-shirts for sale at all MYA Blue Devils home games. All the profit from these shirts will go towards sponsoring a local family / families during the Christmas season.  Wear a shirt and let everyone know that Blue Devil Football and Cheerleading plays hard, and prays hard!
